Confederate Airplane?

I received my issue of 'America's Civil War' yesterday in the mail and was fascinated to find that there was an article I had never seen before: a Confederate airplane! A Virigina doctor actually created the airplane design and presented it to the Confederate Congress. Things looked good for a while until the engineers assigned to address the issue ruled that there were a few major technical problems. Who knew that 40 years later, Orville and Wilbur Wright would take flight over the former Confederate State of North Carolina at Kittyhawk.

St Andrews Cross Flying in Spain

It is estimated that possibly 5,000 patriots from Spain crossed the Atlantic and took up arms in defense of Dixie in the War for Southern Independence. These patriots were Carlistas - patriotic traditionalists who supported a different king, local community rule and Christianity at the center of society. And their flag was also the St Andrews Cross. They found natural allies in the people of Dixie.

Today, Spain is ruled by Socialists who are inflicting on the Spanish basically what Washington, DC is inflicting upon Dixie. A new resurgence of Carlismo is growing on the Right in Spain today though and may hold the key for the survival and restoration of the country. Below is a picture of some Carlistas. They are wearing their traditional red (for their fallen comrades) berets and holding the Carlista flag. It is definitely nice to see proud allies of Dixie on the rise in Europe.

SA: Confederate Memory Loss

'May 10th is Confederate Memorial Day in South Carolina and as usual the holiday will likely pass with less fanfare than some might like. That a holiday to honor the Confederate dead doesn’t get as much attention as their flag says more about today’s politics than it does yesterday’s soldiers....'

Nebraska AG Defies Feds on Illegal Aliens

Washington, DC continues to take the side of illegal aliens over that of Americans. In the latest clear example of this, 'The federal government is holding back federal funding for a Nebraska public commission in order to punish the state’s attorney general for refusing to use taxpayer dollars to file lawsuits for illegal aliens. Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning would not pursue cases on behalf of illegal immigrants....'

French Quarter Citizens Patrol the Streets

Frustrated with their deeply corrupt city government's inability to stop a rising crime wave through particularly the French Quarter area of New Orleans, local citizens are now organizing and patrolling the streets themselves.

ATF Violates Another Gun Owner's Rights

'An upstanding citizen, army veteran and reservist lent his AR-15 rifle to a neighbor. The neighbor took it to a shooting range. While he was firing it the gun malfunctioned and double fired. The ATF hearing about this decided to do a complete SWAT raid into his house, breaking down his door and all that. They confiscated his computer and gun collection....'

NC Attorney General: No College for Illegals

'Public colleges in North Carolina should not admit illegal immigrants as students, the state Attorney General's Office advised in a letter released Wednesday.... If followed, the advice would reverse policies at the state's 58 community colleges and at the 16 four-year institutions in the University of North Carolina system, which allow illegal immigrants to attend. It also damages a movement to grant in-state tuition to illegal immigrant teenagers who have attended North Carolina high schools.'

Good news for the native, law-abiding, tax-paying people of North Carolina!

A Daily Southron Referendum

The South is by no means the first and only nation that has asserted (and will continue to assert) its national identity, nor will it be the last. Seeking to define what truly makes a nation just that, Ernst Renan, a French philosopher who lived from the early to the late 19th Century, wrote his famous work "What is a nation?" While I and many among us would not necessarily agree with what Renan had to say in other areas, we can certainly find hope and guidance in this area of his outlook. For Renan, a nation is not merely an entity forged by military conquest - like the United States. As he puts it, a nation's existence is a "daily plebiscite [or referendum or vote, depending on one's translation]" on behalf of its members saying that one is their brother or sister, that they wish to continue to live and work alongside them.

If that is not among the best examples of the consent of the governed, I don't know what is! That's exactly what we've here in Dixie been demanding for close to 150 years: the right to live as we see fit and have a government that works for OUR goals. Of course, this "referendum" is not just a literal referendum or election, though that is a part of it. This is about the actions in your everyday life; it does not end with speech. It's keeping up with the Southron Movement, its friends, and its foes. Above all, it's taking part in the resistance to end the occupation of our Homeland. This can be done in a variety of ways. You can join pro-Southern groups and be an active member. Proudly display our Southron flags, flags cherished to this day for their connection to our ancestors' actions - their honor, their bravery, and their sacrifices. Go to cultural events and learn as much as you can about our nation's rich culture and about its past, present, and future. Part of this daily Southron referedum may also entail spreading the message to your family and friends and clarifying the truth to others. Supporting Southron businesses and candidates in elections who support our views (and will act accordingly) should most definitely not be overlooked either.

While we all pray that there will soon be an official, literal referendum for us to assert our independence, it does not begin there. Everything we do in the meantime must be a means to that end. It starts with each and every single one of us. As Renan says, "To have common glories in the past and to have a common will in the present; to have performed great deeds together, to wish to perform still more - these are the essential conditions for being a people." Do you believe in the glory of our nation's past and its truth and honor to this day? Do you wish to continue to do great things in a free and independent Southron Homeland? Then cast a resounding "YES!" as your vote in the daily Southron referendum - by your words and your deeds! Thank you, and God Bless.

Pepsi Donates $2 million to La Raza

Pepsi-Cola is a large financial supporter of La Raza, the militant Latino organization which dreams of splitting off the Southwest and forming a new Mestizo homeland there for Mexicans. Despite La Raza's radical agenda, Pepsi has, according to their own wesbite, donated at least $2 million to the group.

NAACP Opposes Immigration Enforcement

In Frederick County, Maryland 'NAACP leaders and several community groups are calling on the sheriff's office to end its agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but their message is not without its critics.... The Frederick NAACP is looking for a collaboration between the immigrant community and police.'

Not only is the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) a frequent attacker of Southron cultural symbols and displays, it is now actively aiding the illegal alien invasion.

TN High School Bans Confederate Symbols

'Confederate flags have been banned from the school at 1776 Declaration Way (Thompson's Station, Tennessee). Some parents say administrators at Independence High School have gone too far and infringed on their children's right to free speech.... Approximately 10 students were sent to the office for wearing "inappropriate" clothing on Monday. Birdsong said that could mean they had shirts with Confederate flags or other symbols.... Courtney Collyer, a junior at the school, said educators have gone too far in restricting what students can wear... "It's the ones who support the Confederate flags who should be offended," Collyer said. "A lot of these guys have great grandfathers that fought in the Civil War. It's part of their heritage, and now their families are looked down upon."

We salute Courtney Collyer for taking a stand for our flag and heritage!

Ringgold, GA Council Against Confederate Flag

The local government in Ringgold, Georgia continues to defy Georgia law and continues to take swipes at Southron heritage and the will of the people.

'The council voted 4-1 to approve a resolution relating to the Confederate Battle Flag that flew at the Ringgold Depot to “clarify its intention as to any allowance of flying the Confederate Battle Flag on city property on any prior occasion.” The resolution includes: “flying of the Confederate Battle Flag on any of the flagpoles located on the flag display area in front of the historic depot, which is owned by the city, was only a temporary flying... for a special purpose and should not in any way be construed as a permanent flying of the flag....'

BJ's Employee Fights for Confederate Flag

'There is a fight in Jacksonville over a Confederate flag. A BJ's store employee will not be allowed to park on store property as long as he flies the flag in the back of his pickup truck. The BJ's Wholesale chain said the flag falls outside their guidelines for personal expression at work.'

More news coverage for the bigotted company that not only bans the Confederate flag (thus discriminating against Southrons), but also is a strong supporter of Hispanic pro-immigration groups. We salute Bobby Tillett for taking a stand against BJ's on this vital issue of freedom of expression as well cultural preservation.

John McCain is a Traitor

'Sen. John McCain used Cinco de Mayo as a launching pad for a new Spanish-language Web site on Monday, and emphasized his stance on immigration and border security, hoping to attract Hispanic voters, a demographic which has become more important this election cycle.'

John McCain has long supported open borders and amnesty for the tens of millions of illegal aliens now in America. McCain is a traitor - pure and simple. His past service to America means little compared to his strong support now for the alien invasion that is replacing us and destroying our culture.

New SCV Camp Chartered in Alabama

There is a brand-new Sons of Confederate Veterans camp in Alabama - Confederate Constitution Camp #2143. Seven of the nine charter members have Confederate ancestral roots in Conecuh County, Alabama. Camp officers are Larry Darby (Cmdr.), Danny Joyner (Lt. Cmdr) and Eddie Hooks (Adj.). Alabama Division Commander Leonard Wilson has the camp charter at present - he drove to Columbia, TN on 1 May to get the necessary endorsement. Everyday Low Prices Have High Costs

'In this funny cartoon, an honest factory worker learns the truth about his favorite department store: that there's a very high cost for everyday low prices. Namely, unemployment!'
