"I don't think I'm intolerant, I just don't condone the lifestyle," he said. "Your personal lifestyle should be nobody's issue but yours. It's not a civil rights issue, it's a personal choice issue."

We salute the mayor of Birmingham for his stand against the very powerful homosexual lobby. If only more mayors in Dixie had his courage.

Bobby Tillett has been told by managers of the distribution center for BJ's Wholesale Club to keep his truck out of the parking lot if it displays the Confederate battle flag. He now parks a half-mile away rather than take down Dixie's St Andrews Cross. "It's a matter of principle," Tillett said. "I shouldn't have to take it down." Even after a century and a half, many captured Confederate flags remain to this day in Northern lands in various collections. If we are indeed "a single nation" then why are not the flags of Dixie returned home to the descendents of the people who made and fought under them? To them our banners are trophies of their imperial conquest - to us they are our most treasured symbols. Free the occupied flags!

'A historic Confederate flag captured at the Civil War battle of Gettysburg by Wisconsin soldiers will be unveiled Saturday evening at the Grant County Courthouse. The First National Flag of the Confederacy ("Stars and Bars"), also known informally as the Huftill Flag, was captured on July 1, 1863, on the first day of Gettysburg. Ellenboro native Pvt. Dick Huftill, of the 7th Wisconsin Regiment... captured the 5-foot-by-7-foot flag and presented it to Lt. Col. John B. Callis, a Lancaster resident. Callis brought the flag home later that year.'

The local Leesburg UDC has requested the Maryland Division Color Guard be the Color Guard for the ceremony surrounding the re-dedication of the Confederate Monument. "May 28th marks the 100th anniversary of the unveiling of the life size Confederate statue on the court house lawn in Leesburg. To mark this great day in Leesburg's history, she is trying to pull together a service at the monument. There is much left to do to make it happen, but I thought I would put the cart before the horse and ask you if you and the Md. Div. Honor Guard might be available on Saturday May 31st".

Each video is approximately five minutes in length. The first video is a fairly recent music video dealing with the Anglo-Boer War and the Afrikaner hero, General Koos de la Rey. The second and third videos comprise a news piece discussing the history, reactions to the song, and modern implications for the Afrikaners. If y'all have the time, I highly recommend taking a look at them. Even just watching the music video and/or the first part of the story would give a lot of information about the conditions in South Africa.

The Afrikaners once lived in free and independent republics before being conquered by the British Empire, just as the Confederate States of America were conquered by the American Empire. The British sought to conquer and control the Afrikaners in order to bolster their own status, plundering their gold reserves and other natural resources. Again, does this sound familiar to anyone? The high regard in which Afrikaners hold General De la Rey is much like how Southrons honor our beloved heroes, such as Generals Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, and President Jefferson Davis, among others. Much like Lee, De la Rey wished to avoid war, but when it was forced upon his nation by a foreign invader, not once did he forget where his loyalties belonged. This wise ol' fellow fought on vastly outnumbered against a well-equipped invader until it was no longer feasible for his People and his troops.

The discussion of the "old" flag of South Africa, too, is all to familiar to Southrons. While those who foolishly seek to eradicate the symbol find it "old" or "wrong," we know that our own flags are just as relevant and honorable today as they were when they were first adopted by our ancestors. This is merely the tip of the proverbial iceberg in terms of the attack on their culture. Just as monuments, street names, and other symbols honoring our Confederate ancestors are under attack, so too are those honoring Afrikaner cultural heritage. With the tyranny of "political correctness" still present, their grievances of crime, corruption, and the lack of control over their own lives and culture are almost the same as our own.

One might skeptically ask, "So what?" Well, first of all, the case of the Afrikaner People illustrates that we are by no means alone in our struggle. While we are two different nations, Southrons can learn much about our own struggle by examining the obstacles, successes, and failures of other movements in the past and present. By doing so, we strengthen our own efforts to establish a free and independent Southron Homeland. We are not alone, and we are justified in this most righteous of fights! Combined with our dedication to the Cause, let such knowledge allow us to advance our own pursuit of Southron liberty and independence!

Language is one of the most important keys to cultural identity and preservation. In our case, we Southrons constitute a national body just the same as any other nation of people in the world such as the Japanese or Russians or Portuguese - the only difference is we are not free and self-governing. One of the many things that makes us obviously unique is our manner of talking. Today there is a concerted effort to eradicate Southron language in a mad rush to "all be the same" (such a deplorable goal). Apparently, the communist mantra "diversity is our strength" does not apply to Southrons and our language. It is up to us, the the national body of the people of Dixie, to preserve our culture - including our language. Please take note of these few Southron words and try to use them rather than the imperial yankee words which have been forced upon our people from government education and the mass media. Also realise, Dixie is blessed with many regional dialects and accents and so your local word may differ from the words here.

Of course, there was never a first 'civil war' in America - the War for Southern Independence was a true war, not a fight between two factions seeking to control a single government. That said, there is more and more talk of 'another civil war' in the future in America, due primarily to the open-borders policy of the Federal Government which is replacing us all with cheap Third World labor and fueling the growth and radicalization of non-native ethnic nationalist groups.
