Dr Thomas DiLorenzo on C-SPANDr Thomas DiLorenzo was recently interviewed on
C-SPAN. Dr DiLorenzo spoke about his interests in economics and Abraham Lincoln, and his investigations into the two
areas through his books, The Real Lincoln: A New Look at Abraham Lincoln, His Agenda, and an Unnecessary War (Prima Lifestyles,
2002); and Lincoln Unmasked: What You're Not Supposed to Know About Dishonest Abe (Crown Forum, 2006). He spoke about
his research and methods, as well as many of the results he uncovered during the research. Professor DiLorenzo not only criticizes
President Lincoln's handling of the Civil War, he also criticizes current day historians who, he says, belong to the "church
of Lincoln." Those include James McPherson, Harold Holzer, Harry Jaffa, Eric Foner, and Doris Kearns Goodwin. Professor
DiLorenzo also contends that academic historians critical of Lincoln have difficulties getting university level jobs.
The above is the information from the video.

Giant Confederate Flag Coming to Tampa, FL'Next year, a giant Confederate flag may tower above the tree
line near the junction of Interstate 75 and Interstate 4. The Sons of Confederate Veterans wants drivers in the Tampa area
to see the massive flag — 30 feet high and 50 feet long — atop a 139-foot pole, the highest the Federal Aviation
Authority would allow. It would be lit at night....' Naturally the local NAACP is vocally opposing the plan, asking the
government to step in and ban the display.
We salute the Tampa-area SCV and long for the day when the NAACP
- not our flag - is banned in Dixie.

South Carolina Takes Strong Stand Against Invasion'ALIPAC activists are celebrating a victory in South Carolina
today, after months of activism that resulted in one of the strongest state laws in America cracking down on illegal immigration.
The new legislation will bar illegal aliens from all taxpayer funded colleges and require employers to verify they are only
hiring American citizens and legal immigrants. The SC legislation follows new tough laws in AZ, GA, OK, RI, and others....'
This is a great victory for South Carolinians. Our House finally moved from its previous refusal to follow the Senate
in taking meaningful action against the illegal immigration invasion. The pressure now falls to local communities and towns
in the Palmetto State to expand on the victory in taking our State back.

SLMNews Update: Meeting Dixie's International AlliesHey y'all, just thought I'd give everyone a heads-up
on what's going on in the world of SLMN. We're going to be focusing on our European allies in the next couple
of months, especially on the Carlistas of Spain and the Scots-Irish/Ulster-Scots of Ulster.
Tomorrow, SLMNews will
be interviewing a representative from the largest Carlista party in Spain - CTC. The Carlistas remain our international allies.
Possibly as many as 5,000 of them crossed the Atlantic from Europe and took up arms for the CSA. SLMN will meet with
the Carlista rep. at their local headquarters in the Spanish capital of Madrid, eating dinner with him in the afternoon and
conducting the interview there or nearby.
And then in early August, SLMNews will be in Ulster meeting with
Ulster-Scots patriots and nationalists there. Parades, speeches, interviews, etc. are on the agenda. Should be great! SLMN
will be going to the Ulster-Scots portion of the country where Scots is still spoken and will be reporting on this connection
to our Southron homeland.
So, that's what's going on. These are exciting times to be a Southron nationalist!

Federal Judge Sides With Illegals Over Texans'A federal judge found Wednesday that a local ordinance prohibiting
apartment rentals to illegal immigrants was unconstitutional and could not be enforced. The judge, Sam A. Lindsay, said Farmers
Branch, a suburb of Dallas, tried to create its own classification to determine which noncitizens could rent in the city.'
The citizens of Farmers Branch tried to save their town. Texas is being flooded by a tide of illegal aliens. Soon
Mexicans will be the majority in Texas - they already are in many areas of the State. And yet when local people try to legally stand
up to the invasion the Federal Government slaps them back down. Case in point - Farmers Branch. We need to seriously consider
how much more of this we plan on accepting. Only free from Washington, DC's intrusions will we ever be able to stop this
invasion.

Immigration Killed Miami, FL: One Woman's Story“I used
to live in Miami,” Mary Johnson said. “It was a beautiful, sunny, clean little town, with soft trade winds, and
golden shell beaches lapped by warm, gentle waves. When I was a little girl, the downtown was safe enough for my grandmother
to comfortably take me there on the city bus to shop, be treated to a chocolate soda and catch a Haley Mills movie. “All that changed in
Miami in the 60s and 70s. Miami suffered an onslaught of “immigrants”. I was born in Miami, and my great-grandmother’s
boarding house had the first residential telephone. The change in our lives was both extraordinary and unalterable!'
This is a highly recommended article that describes very vividly the fall of Miami from a great Southron city to a
Third World slum. This is the future all of Dixie has to look forward to if we remain under Federal rule.

FL Principal Charged in 'Gay Rights' CaseDavid Davis is the principal of Ponce
de Leon High School in Florida and 'he's accused of preventing students from wearing clothing or showing homosexual
symbols.... Principal Davis said the t-shirts violate the school board dress code. He sent a letter to students saying students
who wore the shirts would be asked to remove the shirts. Those who continue to wear the shirts would be suspended for 5 days....
Another interesting point, Davis says clothes with the confederate flag are allowed at school. He says they haven't caused
a distraction.'
Notice in the article that they fail to capitalize the 'C' in 'Confederate'
- a clear sign of disrespect for our flag and culture.

Traitorous Texas Church Group Aids Illegal Aliens'A group of faith-driven activists is trying to organize a network
to help illegal immigrants who fear new local immigration-related laws and massive raids. The advocates — all Catholic
— hope to provide places to stay, food and health care for immigrants. They have a few families who have volunteered
to host immigrants, but ultimately want to open a shelter. If the project is successful, immigrants seeking sanctuary would
simply need to ask...."
Apparently 43 million aliens is not yet enough for this group of traitors in San Antonio,
Texas. This sort of open treason (aiding an invasion of our land) can not be tolerated. It does not matter if the group is
religious or not - this has to be stopped.

Lake Charles Man Accused of Housing Illegal Aliens'Jury selection is scheduled for the federal trial of a Lake
Charles man accused of bringing illegal immigrants to southwest Louisiana and housing them to work for his business. Rodney
Ryder is charged with conspiracy to harbor certain aliens and harboring aliens. His employee, Sergio Alire, faces the same
charges because federal authorities consider him instrumental in the operation.'
There is no excuse for aiding
the invasion - hopefully they throw the book at this criminal.

The Oldest Colony of the United StatesWith Obama and Clinton pandering to Puerto Rico for support in its June
1st primary (see http://www.yahoo.com/s/887908), I am reminded of a recent "conversation" with an individual
concerning the island. Initially, they stated that Puerto Rico is the oldest colony in the world. This is essentially correct,
as it was founded as such when it was claimed for Spain by Columbus in 1493. After centuries of Spanish rule, it was conquered
by the United States in the Spanish-American War of 1898, remaining under federal control to this day. However, this person,
clearly not a Southron, had the audacity to claim that Puerto Rico is also the "oldest colony of the United States."
I know I've never been terribly outstanding with
numbers, but didn't 1865 (as we know, the year by which the federal government conquered all of the Southern States) occur
before 1898? Furthermore, on a State-by-State basis, some Southern States, such as Maryland, were conquered as early as 1861.
Calling Puerto Rico the oldest federal colony clearly ignores the history of the War for Southern Independence. In fact, when
one takes a look at history, it is the dastardly actions of the North and its conquest of Dixie that placed the United States
on the path to further imperialism. With federal supremacy ensured and rampant government spending, the United States turned
outward.
Expansion prior to the War was much
more gradual and isolated to the North American continent, yet meddling abroad and outright imperialism grew at an ungodly
pace following the rise of this further emboldened leviathan. In 1867, for example, Alaska was purchased from Russia. Hawaii
was overthrown by American big-business interests in 1893 and was annexed by the United States in 1898. Then there was the
Spanish-American War, in which Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Philippines were added to the list of territories of the federal
government. These are merely territories officially claimed by the United States; this does not include much more "subtle"
intervention and bloody wars.
Even though it is truly dependent upon the United States for, well, just about everything,
Puerto Rico at least has some cultural autonomy. For example, the status of the Spanish language and Puerto Rican traditions
are not in question, yet our language and customs are, to say the very least, under attack. Also, consider this: when the
question of whether or not Puerto Rico should secede arises, the constitutionality of it is rarely an issue. They may be an
occupied territory, but so is Dixie, and we've been under the federal tyranny's heel longer! As (grudgingly so) the
federal government's oldest colony, let us Southrons resolve to once again assert our rights and liberties, cast off the
oppression of this empire, and officially establish our very own nation-state!

Mississippi Law Cracks Down on Illegal Aliens'Mississippi has a new law against illegal immigrants that’s
considered one of the toughest state measures to crack down on undocumented workers from other countries and the businesses
that hire them. "It’s “the most comprehensive illegal-immigration reform in Mississippi’s history,”
and will prove to be “a valuable tool to protect law-abiding employers and the American worker,” said Lt. Gov.
Phil Bryant.'
Mexican and immigrant-rights groups are of course denouncing the new law, but this is a step
in the right direction. With the Federal Government refusing to act, the people are slowly gaining the courage to do something
about the invasion on their own.

More On Confederates in BrazilHere is an older article from a couple years ago about Confederates
in Brazil. The article explains everything, but basically there was a group of hard-core Confederates who could not endure
Federal rule - and thus, relocated to Brazil after the War for Southern Independence. The article includes a couple of nice
pictures of young Confederates eating and dancing (in CSA uniforms and traditional Old South dresses) in Brazil. Check
it out!
