'The families of 12 Nepali men killed by Iraqi insurgents have
filed a federal lawsuit accusing defense contractor KBR Inc. and a Jordanian subcontractor of human trafficking, saying the
men were sent to work in Iraq against their will after being promised jobs in a posh hotel in Jordan.'
Alabamians (and Southrons as a Whole) Sick and Tired of the Invasion and Excuses
'Residents [of Albertville, AL] at the forum shared their frustrations
with [Senator Jeff] Sessions, describing how illegals are taking advantage of and overrunning the county's hospitals,
schools and welfare programs at the expense of taxpayers.'
The people of the great State of Alabama and all
of Dixie are indeed sick and tired of this invasion and the excuses provided by those who are supposed to be representing
us at all levels of government. While Senator Sessions applauds the tyrannical, ineffective Bush and wasteful,
worthless federal systems (like E-Verify), at the end of the day, what has been accomplished for the citizens of Alabama and Dixie?
'Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin told CNN that US citizens
had been in the conflict zone of South Ossetia. He said his defence officials had told him the provocation was to benefit
one of the US presidential candidates.... The White House has also announced that up to $5.75m (£3.1m) will be freed
to help Georgia....'
The Feds' utter hypocrisy on Georgia and Kosovo is really too much! As a certain would-be
German dictator said back in the 1920's though, if you are going to tell a political lie - make it a big one. People will
more easily accept a big lie from their government. The Feds seem to have learned that political lesson well.
Savage Brutality in Mexico (again) - 11 Decapitated
'Police in the Mexican state of Yucatan have found the bodies
of 11 men, decapitated and piled on each other. They were discovered in a rural area outside the city of Merida. Police have
given few details.'
Article: 'Conservative Democrats Peeling Away From Obama'
'Barack Obama has been struggling to maintain his Democratic
base thus far in August, and according to weekly averages of Gallup Poll Daily tracking, the problem seems to be with conservative
Democrats.'
'Based in Charleston, S.C., the bimonthly magazine appeals to
well-heeled Southerners with a mix of articles about music, art, literature, food, the land and, of course, hunting and fishing.
It’s printed on glossy paper and features sumptuous photography and evocative writing from big-name authors like Reynolds
Price, Clyde Egerton, Winston Groom and Roy Blount Jr.'
'Democrats also benefit from the migration of Northerners to
the South — not just to retirement havens, but also to the new research and technology centers. And they also gain from
the huge migration of Latinos into many parts of the South, turning states like Texas, and soon Georgia, into majority “minority”
states.'
Russian President: 'All People have the Right to Self-determination'
'Russia's president sat down with CNN's Matthew Chance
to explain Russia's recognition of Georgia's breakaway provinces.'
Perhaps the most important quote
to Southrons and occupied peoples round the world came when President Dmitry Medvedev said 'All people have the right
to self-determination.' We couldn't agree with you more, Mr President!
Meanwhile, Condi Rice smugly declares
the the Feds will stop the independence of these two small republics while John McCain, Joe Biden and neo-cons in both
major parties excitedly pound the drums of war.
'Police in Mexico say they have found three decapitated bodies
on a rubbish dump in Tijuana, in the latest incident of gang-related violence. The victims were found with their hands tied,
along with messages referring to drug-trafficking. Their heads, found nearby, appear to have been burnt.'
Coming very soon from SLMNews is 'The Free Southron' - a
free online (for now - though it will be available for printing from our site as well) paper with contributers from
Dixie, the North, Europe and with a strong pro-South message for modern-day patriots in Dixie. The first edition should be
out the middle of September with following editions coming out monthly.
Neo-Con Dick Morris Says 'It's Not an Invasion [of Iraq]'
This video demonstrates the irrationality of the neo-cons on many
issues. Regardless if they are Democrat or Republican, the War Party marches on. No Federal aggression is ever wrong in their
eyes. No intervention is too unconstitutional. There is no spot on Earth safe from them. Morris, though a Democrat, speaks
with virtually the same voice on this as does McCain, Bush, Joe Biden, Lieberman and the rest of the upper-tier of Federal
leadership.
CofCC 2008 National Conference Video Discussing Dixie
James Edwards of the Political Cesspool radio program talks with former Croatian diplomat Tomislav Sunic,
at the 2008 Council of Conservative Citizens Conference in Florence, Alabama. They discuss Dixie and the people and ways of
the South. Very positive material. Check out the video below!
'Never in the history of the Libertarian Party has an idea been
executed so smoothly as the nomination of Bob Barr, a former Republican congressman—and former drug warrior—from
Georgia.'
Washington, DC Does Not Believe In Self-determination
'US President George W Bush has urged Russia not to recognise
Georgia's two breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia as independent states.... In a statement, Mr Bush called
on Russia's leadership to "meet its commitments and not recognise these separatist regions".'
Apparently only Washington, DC has the right to decide if foreign peoples should be
independent or should remain under the control of other nations. Considering how the Feds recently fought to partition
up Serbia - creating and then propping up the new Albanian Muslim puppet-state of Kosovo - DC has no credibility
at all on this issue.
'It’s been another rough decade for the Rust Belt. And
things really aren’t rosy in Ohio, which is home to three of the top five cities that are fading away.'
What may on the surface seem like a positive development for Southrons is in fact very bad news - millions of (seemingly
the rudest and most arrogant) former citizens of these Yankee cities and others like them are heading south to Dixie.
Just as Tibet is being re-made by the immigration of millions of Chinese loyal to the central regime, so too Dixie is being
re-made with the influx of millions of Yankees loyal to the politically-correct, Washington-above-all line that comes from
America's central regime today.
'Biden isn't a hawk in the way that John McCain is a hawk.
He doesn't look to military intervention as the first solution to every foreign policy trip-up. But he still wants the
United States to solve them all. Darfur? Check. The embargo on Cuba? Check. NATO expansion and aid to Georgia? Check. Biden
amplifies Obama's long-held, and well-disguised, neo-liberal foreign policy.'
'Since all candidates belong to the same ruler class, it only
matters to them and their retainers which one sits on the throne. The personality of a particular emperor might make an insignificant,
temporary difference. A contest between the candidate of the military/industrial wing of the ruler class and the candidate
of the affirmative-action wing amounts to little, especially when both are merely creatures of the media wing.'
'When Hispanics needed a friend in Congress during the immigration
debate… Who stood up? Who spoke out? John McCain. Senator McCain worked with Republicans and Democrats alike to form
immigration legislation. And while the bill didn’t pass, only McCain demonstrated a real commitment to reforming immigration
in a way that honored our laws as well as our immigrants and traditions.'
So goes the translation of one of
John McCain's newest political ads. With this ad, McCain takes political pandering to a new low. There can be no
doubt about what a McCain presidency would mean for millions of Southrons deeply concerned about what can only truthfully
be called a Mexican invasion.
'One of the few prominent, genuine conservatives in the American
media, Pat Buchanan breaks down the real story behind the current conflict concerning Russia, Georgia and South Osettia
on “Russia Today.”' Watch the interview below.
