New Military Occupation of Dixie - Fed Combat Troops Deployed in GA
If anyone had any lingering notion that this was 'a
free country,' surely all such fantasies have been smashed by the recent actions taken by the Federal Government. The
regime we unfortunately have to endure is clearly illegal and tyrannical.
'The First Raiders will spend 2009
as the first active-duty military unit attached to the U.S. Northern Command since it was created. They will be based in Fort
Stewart, Georgia, and focus primarily on logistics and support for local police and rescue personnel, the Army says.... Bloggers
are criticizing the new force, saying that because it has been training in law enforcement tactics it could be be used for
domestic law enforcement.'
Confederate Memorial Desecrated in Southern Illinois
A memorial in southern Illinois to the Confederate fallen has
been desecrated by vandals. It has since been restored at considerable cost to the owner (who has also suffered great financial
distress for his pro-South stand). T Warren the musician and pro-South activist who owns the property, describes the events.
'We had been having some incidents of kids partying around the
memorial in the wee hours of the morning. One night I had enough and stayed up and caught five of them out there.
A slight altercation arose, I won and they left. It was quiet for awhile. Then we awoke one morning a few weeks later
and someone had bent the aluminium flag poles over, turned over the concrete bench and busted it, ripped the flags, urinated
and defecated on the memorial, and sprayed weed killer of sorts on the memorial lawn.'
The hatred and intolerance
that exists for our culture and heritage is incredible, is it not?
'Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has said that the era of
US global economic dominance is over. Speaking after talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in St Petersburg, Mr Medvedev
said the world needed a "more just" financial system.'
'My friends and I often joke about leaving the country because
the U.S. is messed up, from the Iraq war to the bailout that helps greedy banks, but does little for struggling homeowners
like my neighbor.'
Check out this pro-secession article from a quarter many folks would consider unlikely.
The voices for independence from Federal domination are growing.
Confederate Statues Excluded from politically-correct DC Hall
'Officials decided that they would not place the statues of
Hampton, a top cavalry commander, or Smith, whose statue depicts him in a Confederate officer's uniform, in Emancipation
Hall. Instead, they will be put elsewhere in the visitors center.'
Guess who was the moving force behind this
decision? Jesse L Jackson Jr. Enough said.
'...McCain, who has aggressively courted Hispanic voters, has
appeared before several leading Hispanic organizations since he clinched the primary, vowing to pursue immigration reform.
'Recent polls suggest Democrat Barack Obama has opened a wide lead over McCain among Hispanics... McCain's Hispanic
supporters, though, say Hispanic voters know where McCain stands, and they're confident he continues to back a path to
legalization....''There's a lot to be proud of with Sen. McCain and Hispanic issues,'' said Miami Republican
Rep. David Rivera."'
Fight Terrorism by Securing the Mexican Border says Bob Conley
Conservative Democrat Bob Lindsey is running for the Federal
Senate from South Carolina against neo-con Lindsey Graham (known to some as John McCain's personal travel
buddy) who has consistently voted in favour of amnesty for illegal aliens and weak border patrol measures. While Graham has
shown very little concern for border security, he has reached out to militant Mexican groups such as La Raza (who advocate
making Texas and other lands a new Mestizo homeland for their people). In the video below, Bob Conley talks about really
fighting terrorism by securing the Mexican border.
I was thinking today about how meaningless this word 'American' is. First of all, it comes from the name of an Italian
explorer (Amerigo Vespucci) who never even lived in what is now called America [whereas 'Deutsch' (German) for
example is a real word that grew from the speach of ancient Germans who used that word to mean 'the people']. Next,
it has from the very beginning been used to mean different peoples, cultures, ethnic and linguistic groups, etc. And finally,
it is today used as a universal proposition nation founded on (an ever-changing) ideology and global power (which is
temporary) - not on nationality or culture or anything at all organic.
I have quit using it in most cases. I think
it's only appropriate if you speak in very broad terms of a general civilisation, much like Europe or East Asia or
Subsahara Africa or wherever.
When you contrast the meaninglessness of the word 'American' to the
very specific, definable and real 'Southern' (or 'Southron) I think the distinction becomes clear. Even better
is comparing 'American' to 'Dixie' (because with 'Dixie' the recognition is primarily cultural, not
geographical). It is like comparing 'The Middle East' with the Persians or 'Europe' with the Poles. One is
abstract while the other is real.
'Flanders indeed has wealth, a hard-working population, and
beautiful, world-famous cities - like Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp. Many there are asking why their taxes should prop up what
they regard as a lagging, mismanaged region. "Walloons should be responsible for what they do," says Roger Vandervoorde,
65, a retired sales director, sipping a drink in front of Ghent's picture-perfect cathedral. "The best would be a
confederation, with each part responsible for itself and only a few small matters handled federally."'
Self-determination,
not centralised rule, is the way of the future - from Dixie to Alaska to Belgium, Abkhazia and beyond.
More Federal Socialism: 'And now, $25 billion to Detroit'
'Banking wasn’t the only industry to get a hand from Congress
this weekend. The Senate on Saturday sent President Bush a spending bill that includes up to $25 billion in loan guarantees
to help Detroit automakers retool their factories and develop technologies to reduce vehicle emissions and increase fuel efficiency.'
Why not just sign away our first born while we're at it?
'Great Progress' in Congress' march towards Socialism
'Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said "great progress"
had been made - but details remain to be agreed. The Bush administration wants $700bn (£380bn) to be able to buy bad
debt that is freezing up financial markets.'
The only debate is over which side is more socialist - the Democrats
or the Republicans. At this point, it is impossible to tell. Real choice is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
'The signing of the Covenant was conducted in an atmosphere of near religious fervour, appearing to many like a crusade,
with comparisons being drawn between the Ulster Covenant and the Old Testament Covenant of the Israelites.
Religious services to invoke divine aid and to encourage signatures were
held throughout in Protestant churches with the favoured hymn being 'O God, our help in ages past'. Charles Frederick
D'Arcy, later Archbishop of Armagh, stated his Church’s reason for supporting the Covenant: "We hold that no
power, not even the British Parliament, has the right to deprive us of our heritage of British citizenship."'
