'Annie Robertson Allison is kin to both Confederate and Union soldiers,
but she is outspoken in her belief that the Stars and Stripes should be honored above the Confederate flag. "I'm a Southerner, but first I'm an American," said Allison, who
is a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. "While we pay homage to our Southern heritage, the American flag
takes precedence over the Confederate flag."'
Imagine if the Spanish people of old had adopted this attitude
after they were conquered by the Moors. For 700 years they were ruled by Muslims, so surely at points it would have been tempting
to adopt a servile attitude like Mrs Allison above. What if they had said, 'I'm a proud Spaniard but first I'm
a Moor now. We should honour our Spanish heritage, but the Moorish banner takes precedence over our Spanish flag.' To
those hold-outs who were strong enough to maintain their dream of self-rule, no doubt some Moor or turn-coat was
always around to jeer, 'You lost. Get over it. Stop living in the past.'
Honouring the Cause of the South's
independence and the sacrifice of those who lost everything defending that Cause is surely noble for a Southron today. However,
then turning around and hailing the flag of the Empire which destroyed the dream of that Cause and continues to this day to
abuse and rule over the South makes no sense at all. It is both self-mocking and self-defeating.

it was the Federal Reserve which set up this financial melt-down with their boom-and-bust policies. The Fed has no real money
with which to buy stock from failed businesses - it simply prints more paper or moves zeros from one column to another, either
way driving down the value of the dollar. The source of this problem, government intervention and incompetence, remains and
will only get worse with this 'rescue' from the central banks.

This is an update on a story SLMNews has been covering for some time. We
often hear of the federal government bribing the States with their own money in order to further diminish the power of States
and therefore control them, but here we see politicians in Texas attempting to bribe the federal government into relocating
an extremely dangerous compound to their own State. Perhaps this is due to corruption, or perhaps it is due to the misleading
idea that more jobs will be brought to the area for local citizens; regardless, this is a disaster waiting to happen on a
number of levels. First of all, the dependence of a people or a State on the federal government (or any government)
is nothing more than the beginning of slavery. It is also a fallacy to believe that jobs will be brought to the
area for native Texans. In fact, any such positions will be filled by outsiders, only drawing in more yankee invaders.
As a Marylander, I can especially tell y'all that military bases and other government 'relocations' are
a catalyst for the even greater invasion and destruction of our Southron homeland. Kindly take a look at the areas being
considered for this 'laboratory.' With Maryland once also being considered, four of the five areas discussed
at one time or another are in Dixie. With Kansas deemed nothing more than 'fly-over' country by the ruling
elite of this empire, these 'candidates' should come as no surprise. The people of Texas and all of Dixie
do not deserve this, so I say let us end the colonisation of our homeland! These mere scraps for which some are begging
from the empire are laced with the poison of our intended demise!
'In their first debate this year, South Carolina Rep. Henry Brown
pushed back on a negative advertisement his opponent is running by urging her to "be a real Southern lady." That's
given his Democratic opponent, philanthropist Linda Ketner, a new way to raise some quick cash....
Ketner is already using Brown's line to raise money for her campaign.
"Apparently, [Brown] thinks a real Southern lady is someone who doesn't speak up," says a Ketner fundraising
appeal. "We think a real Southern lady is someone with the intelligence, gumption and leadership to create change in
Congress." Donors get a T-shirt declaring them "Real Southern Ladies for Ketner."'

At first glance, this may appear to be an almost trivial matter, especially for individuals who have not yet had
the privilege of enjoying this activity. Make no mistake, however; this may appear to be somewhat subtle and 'tame,'
but this is yet another attack on our beloved Southron culture. We Southrons are a people with a deep connection to the land,
so why should such a proposed change - really, the eradication of our culture - be forced upon us by these yankees and their
so-called 'development?' Note how they so promptly invoke the name of property rights, only when doing so benefits
them directly - property rights protected in the very same Constitution upon which they and their ancestors have trampled
since the days of our own ancestors.
No End in Sight for Wasteful Federal Spending, Debt
'The US government's budget deficit has ballooned in fiscal
2008 to 438 billion dollars (322 billion euros), or 3.1 percent of GDP, as the economic downturn began to bite, according
to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).'
Imperialism abroad and tyranny at home - to name but only a few
examples, the blatant violation of the Constitution and our rights as citizens and as humans (including the killing of our
unborn), taxation into oblivion, a Third-World invasion, as well as the breakdown of morals and common
sense in other aspects of society - these are the foolish policies for which our money is spent. It is easy for
these corrupt Washington politicians to spend this money and ignore such unfathomable debt when it is not their money to begin
with. Considering how they benefit personally and politically from this, why would they even want to
think about being responsible? Reclaiming our liberty and independence is the only way to bring an end to this in our
Southron homeland.

as to its purpose. Aside from this blatant constitutional violation, does anyone NOT find this disgustingly
overcentralised government's attempts to spy on and likely further violate our rights disturbing?
In their wildest, most terrifying nightmares of a tyrannical government, I submit that our ancestors still would
not have been able to envision one like the one under which we live.

officers violated his religious rights by forcing him to cut his hair. A group of Sikhs protested in front of the jail
Sunday, saying that forcing Jagmohan Ahuja to cut his hair while in jail is against his religion. "It's completely
against our religion to cut any hair on your body as it's an integral part of your body," said Jaspreet Singh of
United Sikhs.'
Of course, had this alien remained in his own land his hair could be as long as he wants. And
had he not become a criminal in the State of Florida he could let his hair grow until it touches the ground.
But failing to remain in his own culture, having come to Dixie, he felt the need to break our laws. And now that he is caught
and serving his punishment, he complains that 'his rights are violated' by a simple haircut and shave. Some people
have all the nerve!
