'In Wednesday's Birmingham News was the story of Birmingham's
own Confederate Motorcycles scoring a spot in this year's exclusive Neiman Marcus Christmas Book.'
Pat Buchanan supports conservative Dem Bob Conley for Senate
'“This small contribution carries with it the Buchanan
family’s gratitude for the loyalty of Bob Conley to the Buchanan Brigades of yesteryear, and my personal best wishes
for his success in his brave and uphill Senate campaign, which reminds me of our own efforts in days gone by,” said
Shelley S. Buchanan, the wife of author, television commentator, and former presidential candidate, Patrick J. Buchanan.'
'The drought that has plagued the Deep South for more than a
year is creeping northward, and officials in multiple states are restricting outdoor burning in the face of water shortages
and forest fire risks from falling leaves and tinder-dry conditions. Extreme drought conditions, the second-worst possible,
have now spread into Kentucky, and severe conditions have returned to West Virginia and southwest Virginia, according to the
U.S. Drought Monitor.'
In what seemed like a parody of his former self or at least his former
image, Hank Williams Jr recently went on stage and played his iconic, outlaw song 'Family Tradition' at a McCain-Palin
rally -but changing the words to attack 'liberals' and support the 'maverick' image of McCain. It was a desperate
attempt by the McCain campaign to appeal to the people McCain has made a career of stepping on in one form of another with
his anti-liberty policies. In the song, Hank Jr condemns 'liberals' for all our problems while praising McCain and
Palin in very general terms. He neglects to point out that McCain is every bit as big a socialist (and therefore to use Hank
Jr's lingo 'liberal' - a truly meaningless word in this day and age when 'conservatives' support massive
government) as is Obama. Perhaps Hank Jr is simply ignorant of this. Ignorance is sad but forgivable. What is not forgivable
is the fascist-like atmosphere of this rally, the imperialistic fluff and Hank Jr's endorsement of militarism and government
power. One part of Hank Jr's new version of his old anti-establishment song promises the government will 'come down
strong' in a McCain-Palin administration if they 'smell something wrong'. That is precisely what terrifies people
who love liberty, Hank.
'Stop and think it over Before you make your decision If they smell something wrong, they're gonna come down strong You know McCain-Palin tradition'
I guess, what do you expect from a man who sang 'Mr Lincoln (I wish you
were here)' at the same time as he flies the Confederate flag (alongside the Federal Government's flag) and praises
his roots in Dixie? Very, very strange, indeed.
Obama, McCain Both Seek to 'Spread the Wealth Around'
'"On taxes, on spending, on regulation, on redistribution
of wealth, the Obama economic policy can be summed up in two words: Marxism / Socialism..." During an Obama campaign
stop in Ohio, a plumber told the Senator: "Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it? ... I've worked
hard. I'm a plumber. I work 10-12 hours a day and I'm buying this company and I'm going to continue working that
way. I'm getting taxed more and more..." Obama told the plumber that the higher taxes he would pay would be
good for society. "... My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be
good for everybody...I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."'
No,
when one 'spreads the wealth around,' one is a socialist - plain and simple - and no one benefits, especially
honest, hard-working folks. The one thing this article fails to note is how there is little difference between McCain
and Obama. Rest assured that, regardless of who 'wins' the election, either one will be an amoral,
anti-liberty, and anti-Southron tyrant - one who will worship the empire and use an immense government and socialism
to pursue his own slightly different agenda. The so-called 'lesser' of the two evils is evil nonetheless,
and we Southrons will not survive if we continue to choose evils. The self-serving politicians of this system are not
Southrons; they are foreign occupiers and 'recruited' traitors, nothing more. Please tell me then: why
should we expect them to represent us or even let us be? We need to personally and collectively withdraw our consent
from this most hostile and broken system.
'For five weeks, Quebecers were told their votes were wasted with
the Bloc Quebecois and it was time to get on side with the governing Tories. But after another convincing Bloc victory in
Tuesday's election, it seems that having a hand in running the federal government is less important than ever to Quebec
voters.'
'The GOP ticket has spent much of the week stumping in traditionally
red states where Obama seems poised for an unexpectedly strong showing, including Virginia and North Carolina. A new CNN/Opinion
Research Corporation poll released earlier Wednesday showed Obama with a 10 point lead In Virginia.'
Old Right verses New Right: Bob Conley verses Lindsey Graham
Democrat Bob Conley essentially takes the 'Old Right,' also
known as 'paleo-conservative,' position while the Republican Lindsey Graham is a poster-child for the 'New
Right' or 'neo-conservative' movement.
Department of Interior Agency (Accurately) Referred to as a 'Cult of Corruption'
'Bobby Maxwell kept a close eye on the oil industry for more
than 20 years as a government auditor. But he said the federal agency he worked for is now a "cult of corruption"
-- a claim backed up by a recent government report...A report, conducted by the Interior Department's inspector general
and released earlier this month, found that employees at the agency received improper gifts from energy industry officials
and engaged with them in illegal drug use and inappropriate sexual relations. It looked at activities at the agency from 2003
through 2006.'
Honestly, should the findings of this report come as a shock to us? One does not need
to waste who knows how much money on a government 'study' to know that this system is corrupt and irreparably broken.
The coloniser has written the rules of this system, and it should come as no shock to y'all that they are, to say the
least, benefiting from this fact. Our occupiers and their scalawag accomplices are not only supporting a government
that denies us of our God-given liberty and seeks to destroy our Southron morals and way of life, but they are capitalising
on tyranny and injustice! Southrons, isn't it time that we throw out this evil and live according to our
morals and ways?
'The Bulgarian Panther 2008, which started on September 1, aimed at
increasing the compatibility between the two armies necessitated by the joint missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. A total of 1200 soldiers are taking part in the drills including 300 from the Bulgarian
party and 900 from the US joint operations forces in Europe.'
'A total of 4,000 Filipino and US soldiers are expected to
take part in the two-week annual joint Talon Vision and Amphibious Landing Exercises (PHIBLEX) that kick off today with a
ceremony at Clark Field in Pampanga. Lt. Cheryll Pontillas, spokesman for this year's joint exercises, said 2,000
Marines and Air Force personnel are joining their US counterparts from the Japan-based 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force and
Essex Expeditionary Strike Group in both ground-air and naval integration training.'
What business does the federal government have in training
and conducting military drills with foreign nations in, for example, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia, as well as provide
them with infrastructure and further funding? The answer is none - that is, unless 'our' so-called
'leaders'' goals are to pile on more debt, further alienate those they are supposed to be representing, stretch
this empire's military even thinner, and instigate additional wars. Beware of an enormous, standing military
constantly conducting drills around the world. The empire marches on...to its demise.
'Ex-US Secretary of State Colin Powell has joined a hip-hop band on stage in London to dance and sing in a celebration
of African culture. America's former top diplomat took centre stage along with Nigerian group Olu Maintain at the Africa
Rising Festival in the Royal Albert Hall. More seriously, he said his own black identity mattered as much as ever.'
'The moment John McCain signed off on the Wall Street bailout
bill, I knew exactly what I was going to be hearing about from that day forward: William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, and Barack
Obama--not because their relationships are important but because at this point, it’s all the Republicans have got.....'
Pro-government? Pro-foreign interventionism? Anti-liberty? Anti-free
markets? Pro-amnesty and open-borders? Well, you're in luck! McBama is your man - whichever of them you may choose.
"What’s wrong?" my wife asked anxiously
as I looked at the computer screen. I didn’t answer, except to blurt out another, "Oh, no!" Finally, I looked
at her and said quietly, "Paul Krugman has won the Nobel in economics." "Whew!" she answered. "I thought maybe one of your parents had died."
"No," I replied. "This is much worse."
Yankee paper money-advocate wins Nobel prize for economics
Although Paul Krugman has been a critic of the Bush Administration,
he remains a neo-Keynesian advocate of central planning and inflationary paper money policies - which necessarily require
a strong central regime and always lead to a reduction of liberty. More of the same.
Ron Paul Speaks to Maryland Crowd, Endorses 5 pro-liberty Candidates
'Maryland Students for Liberty President (no relation to Mike)
Brian Davis expressed the one core belief that unifies Paul's supporters: "They don't need people in Washington
to tell them what to do." Paul's main purpose was to lend support to Republican congressional candidates, such as
Richard Matthews, a 28-year-old running for congress in the state's 2nd Congressional District. Matthews started out as
a Ron Paul meetup organizer last year. Matthews was one of the five candidates Paul endorsed - all of whom share Paul's
beliefs about limited governmental intervention in economy, non-interventionist foreign policy and civil libertarianism.
Notice that the College Republicans whined about Paul refusing to support their war-mongering socialist John McCain
for president and thus they did not support the Ron Paul event - even though he was there to endorse five Republicans. Go
figure!
