home State of New Mexico. Ron Paul has officially endorsed his campaign....'
'We are all Vichy French in America today. Your decision is to choose Free American or Vichy French.
Your choice is collaboration with a regime that seeks to control your every behavior and rob your children of their inheritance
or to stand athwart history and say enough is enough. Collaboration is the willful ability to hold your nose and do what you
know is the wrong thing. Collaboration is the desire to look the other way as a large coercive system robs your neighbors’
against their will and you take advantage of the spoils.'
'On Thursday I marched with lovers of liberty against the greatest threat to American patients in the
history of our country: the rise of Medical Fascism. Some may wonder - what happened to socialized medicine, isn't that the
great threat? While it is true that there are attempts to socialize medical care, the fact is that the power players in Washington
are ready to set the rules and then hand the keys of health care spending over to large health insurance companies. This is
the definition of fascism: the state decides what corporations will do and the corporations do their bidding while making
a profit. As it turns out the very corporations making the profit also control the government.'
'The service, set for June 6, will mark the first such ceremony held at the Confederate Cemetery on
Bethel Avenue in about seven years, said Ron Jones, commander of the Sons of Confederate Veterans' Longstreet-Zollicoffer

Obama Wants $736 Million Colonial Fortress in Pakistan
'The White House has asked Congress for — and seems likely to receive — $736 million to build a new U.S. embassy
in Islamabad, along with permanent housing for U.S. government civilians and new office space in the Pakistani capital. The
scale of the projects rivals the giant U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, which was completed last year after construction delays at
a cost of $740 million.'
A massive waste of our stolen money, to be sure. It's not going to help make friends
in the region either. I guess we all need to work hard. Afterall, the Feds have a global Empire to run with our wealth.
'...As economist Simon Johnson has written, the
U.S. is beginning to look startlingly more like one of those "emerging economies" in meltdown. And overseeing the
response to the crisis are, of course, representatives of the same crony capitalists and oligarchs who helped create it.'
'America has for too long failed to adequately protect the security of its computer networks, President Barack Obama said
Friday, announcing he will name a new cyber czar to take on the job.'
Liberty? Nah, that's an out-dated idea,
I guess. We don't need any of that in the Empire, right? Notice how Federal rulers are commonly called 'czars'. Sounds like
a free country to me. How about you? You didn't want any privacy anyhow, did you?
'Every day, Darren Newsom's three Bitterroot Valley Ammunition facilities crank out 300,000 rounds of ammunition. It's not
nearly enough. “I'm going about 100,000 rounds in the wrong direction every day,” Newsom said. “We probably
have about six months of back orders right now.” Newsom has been in the ammunition manufacturing business for more than
20 years and he's never seen demand this high.'
You can never be too well-armed when you live under one of
the most extensive and destructive empires in history.
´Part of the claims of the Confederate Movement is that the Confederacy is a Nation under occupation by the United States Government; in reality it is more than a simple belief, and
is actually a legitimate fact. Not only is it a fact that the CSA is a Nation under occupation, but
it is a fact that the current State Governments in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia,
Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas were illegally put in place.´
In case you still are under the illusion that you have any rights or freedom in the evil Empire... we dare
you to watch this. Please be warned that the foul-mouthed government thugs curse at and engage in violence against peaceful
citizens - as is now so common in the so-called 'land of the free'.
Warning: Foul language
(by government thugs and their victims)
'With budget deficits soaring and President Obama pushing a trillion-dollar-plus expansion of health
coverage, some Washington policymakers are taking a fresh look at a money-making idea long considered politically taboo: a
national sales tax.'
It's time to leave the evil Empire - before we go down with it. All empires die. It's
just a matter of (probably a very short) time before DC's criminal regime crumbles as well.
Anti-South hate group slanders the League of the South (again)
More slanderous 'reporting' from the corrupt, money-grabbing SPLC. Notice how they lump every possible 'right-wing' group together in order to blast any resistance to their apparent agenda
of growing rich while erasing Southron culture and identity. They equate pro-liberty traditionalist and libertarian individuals
and groups with skinheads, the Klan and the like. If these folks didn't have hundreds of millions of dollars their attack
would be laughable.
'The League of the South, a racist neo-Confederate hate group that has proposed that the
South secede anew, blasted Steele for reaching out to moderates in a blog post titled, "New GOP chair to Southerners
and conservatives: drop dead." It concluded: "Remind me again why I should vote Republican?"'
Notice that the SPLC supposes that any resistance to the GOP establishment is based upon Steele's ethnicity. There
are many reasons to oppose Steele and the GOP leadership and they have nothing to do with race. The fact of the matter is
that GOP leadership has no principles and is merely a tool of the corporate elite - just like the Democrats and the entire
Federal Government. The GOP has lost support because (with only a very few exceptions) it supports endless war, torture, expanded government control, theft of our wealth and massive spending, etc.
Notice also that the SPLC calls the LoS a 'racist neo-Confederate hate group'. This
is laughable. First of all, what is a 'neo-Confederate'? This term is supposed to remind folks of the term 'neo-Nazi', obviously.
It's a slur word - nothing else. And how is the LoS at all 'racist' or a 'hate group'? Does the SPLC have any proof that there
are in fact more 'racists' in the LoS than in the general population as a whole? It's extremely doubtful. What we have here
is a clear case of slander.

A New Private-Public Partnership: The Citizen Police State
'While the threats to our liberties from our own government may be great, many don't realize that the

´The Federal Government’s handling of illegal immigration is indefensible. For several decades
it has deliberately failed to enforce border security through existing law, while giving illegal aliens all the economic benefits
of citizenship and ultimately granting them actual citizenship through amnesty. In short, the government lures illegal immigrants.
Since the government itself bears responsibility for the invasion, we can expect those responsible to deny that illegal
immigration is a problem.´

German firm plans gold-dispensing ATMs to meet growing demand
This is rather interesting. Government paper is not real money, of course. And if it is backed up by nothing,
then it is worth precisely nothing. Throughout history, when people have known about gold and silver and have been free to
choose, they have always chosen those precious metals over all other mediums of exchange.

Fallen honoured at Fredericksburg Confederate Cemetery

This is an interesting piece from an audio book by M N Rothbard on the subject of the Ulster-Scots and how they settled Pennsylvania
and Dixie´s frontier. Check it out!
The gentleman from Texas, Doctor Ron Paul, here tries to have a civil debate with an apparently insane
communist-leaning TV personality. While Dr Paul attempts to argue the case for liberty, the irate socialist throws out insults
and yells at his guest and makes no sense at all. Notice that the rude socialist attempts to defend democracy (a totalitarian system of government where half plus one can tyrannise and exploit - even kill off - half minus one) over the rule of law and liberty.
This piece was recorded for us by Shane. It´s very well thought out and I´m sure that y´all
will enjoy it. The subject could not be more timely in this evil age of Federal tyranny, torture, imperialism and denials
of basic God-given liberties.
´Richburg is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of

More efforts
to culturally ´cleanse´ Dixie. We need to stand up to the biggots in the NAACP as well as all their allies in
government and business.
´The last remnants of the American free-market system are experiencing a quick death by strangulation.
Perhaps the most disturbing casualties of government intervention are General Motors and Chrysler, two disgraced automakers

Archaeologists begin project at ´Civil War´ naval yard
´University of South Carolina archaeologists and students used sophisticated tools to begin surveying

the river near the naval yard are thought to be the final resting place of three large cannons from the CSS Pee Dee, a 170-foot
gunboat constructed at the naval yard and launched in 1865. The vessel was ordered scuttled after returning from an assignment
and the naval yard was to be destroyed before Union troops arrived.´
'The Obama administration announced Thursday that it has invested $7.5 billion in GMAC, aiming to prop
up the troubled lender and boost its ability to make loans to Chrysler dealers and customers. GMAC is the main source of financing
for General Motors (GM, Fortune 500) customers and was recently tapped by the administration as the main lender for Chrysler...GMAC
had already received about $6 billion from the government under the Troubled Asset Relief Program, or TARP. The new $7.5 billion
investment will be in the form of preferred equity. The Treasury Department said it will also soon exchange a previous $884
million loan to GM for common shares in GMAC. As a result, Treasury would hold 35.4% of the common equity of GMAC.'

Resolution Seeking to Restrict Abortion Passes in TN General Assembly
'A proposal to change the Tennessee Constitution to allow the state to impose stricter limits on abortion
has passed both chambers of the General Assembly but still has hurdles to cross before going to voters, lawmakers say. The
resolution, which passed the Senate in March, was approved 76-22 by House members Monday. The measure - which says "nothing
in this Constitution secures or protects a right to abortion or requires the funding of an abortion" - seeks to change
the document to void a Supreme Court ruling in 2000 on abortion restrictions.'
'The Obama administration is expanding a program initiated by President George W. Bush aimed at checking
the immigration status of virtually every person booked into local jails...It comes as the Obama administration and Democratic
leaders in Congress vow to crack down on criminals, rather than illegal immigrants who otherwise abide by the law. Homeland
Security Secretary Janet Napolitano "has made that very clear" that her top priority is deporting illegal immigrants
who have committed crimes, said David J. Venturella, program director at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.'
Contrary to what Mr Obama and his lapdogs would like you to remember, all illegals have committed
crimes! They have broken the law by, among other things, entering and residing in this country without permission.
Is that not the reason they are illegal aliens? This article is quick to praise 'lip-service' federal
intrusion into the matters of the States and localities, instead of noting that Washington has brought on this open-border
nightmare. Obama would like us to believe that he is 'handling the situation.' He's handling the situation alright
- in his best interest, not ours. It's business as usual under this system, as Dixie continues to be invaded,
subjugated, and taxed.

Siemens Spent $1.3 Million in Lobbying Feds in 1st Quarter
'Siemens Corp., the U.S. unit of German industrial conglomerate Siemens AG, spent $1.3 million in the
first quarter to lobby the U.S. government on defense spending, energy efficiency and other issues, according to a recent
disclosure report...Besides Congress, Siemens lobbied the departments of State, Commerce, Education and Health and Human Services,
the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Environmental Protection Agency in the January-March period, according to the
report filed April 17 with the House clerk's office.'
Why would countless giant, often foreign-owned, transnational
corporations spend millions of dollars in this process if they did not already know that they can buy votes and receive many
times more in government handouts?

years, beginning in 2011. The league also considered a bid from Greenville among the five finalists. The NCAA's ban is in
place as long as the Confederate flag continues to fly on the grounds of the state Capitol. It began in 2001.´
Awesome. We need to just start ignoring illegitimate restrictions, laws and dictates whether they are from some college
or the Feds themselves. These people have no right to regulate our lives and destroy our culture.
US Steel Spent $1.1 Million in Lobbying Feds in 1st Quarter
'United States Steel Corp. spent nearly $1.1 million in the first quarter to lobby the federal government
on economic stimulus appropriations and other issues, according to a recent disclosure report. That was 13 percent less than
the Pittsburgh-based company spent on lobbying in the previous quarter. The largest domestically based steel maker also lobbied
on defense issues, as well as energy, environmental, health, trade and tax matters.'
The writer apparently
believes that $1.1 million is a drop in the bucket; it is, but only in the sense that, by buying votes, US Steel hopes
to receive perhaps billions in federal handouts. Is the federal government anything more than one giant
criminal enterprise?
'The federal government has agreed to extend billions in bailout funds to six major life insurers, helping
them shore up their capital positions in the wake of major investment losses...The total capital injection into the six companies

'Mexico has received eight armored vehicles as part of a U.S. aid package to help the government with
its nationwide fight against drug cartels...The United States has plans to deliver $39 million in nonintrusive inspection

broad range of training programs in coordination with Mexican law enforcement authorities. The U.S. Congress has appropriated
$700 million over the past two years to help Mexico fight the cartels.'
The feds have no problem whatsoever
in sending millions upon millions of our dollars in 'aid' to Mexico, yet they refuse to defend the border, allowing millions
of illegals and the violence in Mexico to rapidly spread throughout Dixie. Why? It's in their
best interest - not ours!
'According to a new report from printer vendor Lexmark and O'Keeffe and Co., the federal government
wastes $440.4 million a year on unnecessary printing. The report -- which extrapolated the findings of a survey of 380 federal
government employees out to 2.6 million federal civilian employees and combined that with Lexmark data estimating the federal
government cost per printed page -- estimated that the government spends about $1.3 billion on printing annually.'
Of course, this is a quite a conservative estimate, especially considering this does not include the runaway printing
of Federal Reserve Notes ('money' borrowed into existence and backed by nothing). This is but one example of the
many wasteful, bureaucratic programmes on which our money is spent by Washington.
'NATO supporters frequently claim the North Atlantic Treaty Organization was the greatest military alliance

'Old South' Fraternity Targeted Over Confederate Event

'Why isn’t the honeymoon over yet? That all peace advocates still haven’t broken with Barack
Obama is ominous, indeed. Do they really hate war, empire, and colonialism? Or did they just hate George W. Bush and
Dick Cheney? Obama has been in power more than 100 days, which is time enough to judge the man’s intentions for
the American empire. The signs are not good. Liquidation is clearly not on his agenda.'
I've ran into this
a lot - people who claim to hate imperialism and war but somehow go crazy for Obama. Doesn't make sense at all.
Dr Hill article - On Secession and Southern Independence
In light of the recent interest in secession, there are some fundamental points we
need to understand in order to counter those who claim that this time-honoured remedy against tyranny is un-American and even
treasonous.
The voluntary union (or confederacy) of States known as the United States was born of a secessionist
movement against Great Britain, and our Declaration of Independence is, at base, a secessionist document. How, then, can secession
legitimately be called un-American?
When our Founding Fathers broke the bonds of political association with the
British Empire in 1776, the former colonies became free and independent States constituting thirteen separate communities,
each asserting its sovereignty. This arrangement received confirmation in the Articles of Confederation (1778) and the Treaty
of Paris (1783). Americans themselves, as well as their British foe, acknowledged that each State was a separate and sovereign
entity.
The sovereignty of the separate States is an important issue in understanding how the United States was
formed under its Constitution of 1787-88. When delegates met in Philadelphia in May 1787, they came as representatives selected
by the people (i.e. citizens) of their respective States. The people of the States did not give their delegates any authority
to make binding agreements; rather, they could only discuss proposed changes to the Articles of Confederation. Any changes
to the Articles would become effective only if ratified in convention by the citizens of the separate States.
The
result of the Philadelphia Convention of 1787 was, of course, the U.S. Constitution. However, the document was not binding
until nine of the thirteen States ratified it for themselves. That happened in 1788, and those nine States entered into a
compact (or contract) with each other and, by doing so, created the political union known as the United States (or, more accurately,
the States United). Four States, for a time, remained outside of the union and thus were not bound by the compact. Eventually,
though, all thirteen States ratified and united.
It is important to note that no State (or States) could answer
for another State. Each State acceded to the compact by its own sovereign will. Moreover, all of them understood that they
might secede from the compact by those same means-by a ratifying convention of their citizens or representatives.
Nowhere does the Constitution forbid a State from seceding from the union. In fact, the Tenth Amendment (contained in the
Bill of Rights of 1791) expressly confirms that "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution nor
prohibited by it to the States are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." The power to force a State
against its will to remain in the union is absent among the powers delegated to the general (or federal) government; therefore,
the right of secession is reserved to the States, or more precisely, to the people of the States.
Some
of the New England States threatened to secede several times before 1860 (e.g. 1803, 1807, 1814, and 1844-45). At no time
did the Southern States deny them this right. However, when a number of Southern States seceded in 1860-61, Lincoln and the
Republican Party went to war to prevent them from exercising their Constitutional right. Simply put, Lincoln placed the forced
"unity" of the States above the Constitution itself, and this action set him in opposition to the principles of
the American Founders.
Northern victory in 1865 marked the end of true Constitutional government in America. In
its place, the American Empire now defines the limits of its own power without serious regard to the Constitution. Formerly
free and sovereign States have become little more than administrative provinces of an all-powerful central government in Washington,
DC.
Without a serious challenge to its authority, which the acknowledged right of secession is, our government
will not reform itself. We are not free people if we are not free to leave.
Our colonial ancestors acknowledged
what our present government (and popular opinion) denies: that, at some time, dissolving our political bonds might be a necessary
and proper course. That time came in 1860-61, and The League of the South believes it has come again.
Secession,
as Thomas Jefferson acknowledged, is the assertion of the inalienable right of a people to change their form of government
whenever it ceases to fulfill the purposes for which they created it. Under our Constitution this should be a peaceful remedy.
The decision of a State or States to withdraw peacefully from a political association is not revolutionary or rebellious.
On the contrary, the government that is no longer responsive to its people, a government that denies its people their inalienable
rights, is revolutionary. The right of secession is never more necessary than when it is denied.
Some say that
secession is impractical and/or unattainable. It certainly is both as long as the people of the States remain ignorant of
it as a remedy to tyranny handed down to them by earlier generations.
We, the people of the States, still have
the weapon and the legitimate power of reform (sovereignty). The only thing we lack is the collective will to wield it.

Freddie Mac Wants Another $6.1 Billion of OUR (Stolen) Money
'Freddie Mac asked for another $6.1 billion in government aid Tuesday, after reporting a $9.9 billion
quarterly loss. Including the most recent request, Freddie Mac (FRE, Fortune 500) has drawn $51.7 billion of its $200 billion
lifeline from the Treasury Department. Last quarter, when it reported a loss of $23.9 billion, the company asked the government
for $30.8 billion...On Friday, sister company Fannie Mae reported a first-quarter loss of $23.2 billion, or $4.09 a share,
and said it was requesting $19 billion in additional aid.'
Haven't y'all had enough of this as well?
This enormous, centralised government in Washington refuses to represent the States or the People; relentlessly attacks our
rights, property, and culture; and steals and subsequently gives away OUR money. How can one say that this system is
not broken? Don't we deserve better than this - isn't it time we Southrons consider peacefully going our own way?
'WHAS11 has learned that the federal government appears ready to take a stand on cell phone use by bus
driver and train engineers. It's happening all over the country-crashes while the people at the wheel are on their cell phones...That's
why Boston leaders plan to ban mass transit drivers from even having a cell phone on-board after Saturday's crash. It's a
step TARC officials say they're not ready to make, but soon it may not be up to anyone at the local level. Federal investigators
appear ready to take a stand.'
Thank the Lord that our benevolent handlers are keeping a close eye on us,
making sure that every aspect of our lives is subject to at least one kind of asinine law. What would we ever
do without them? I'll be the first to say that using a cell phone while driving isn't, to say the least, the brightest
thing in the world to do, but is it the place of a government (the federal government, no less) to be our father
or mother? We are men and women - not infants - and we are to take responsibility for our actions, should we behave
irresponsibly.
I'm sure daydreams contribute to right many accidents; is the government then to act as the
thought police and regulate them as well? Of course, that's a bit of an exaggeration on my part, but how
far will the feds go until they've had their fill of control? This proposed ban may only apply to mass transit
employees for now, but will it end there, or will it merely set yet another dangerous precedent for further attacks on our
liberty? This issue may appear to be of little significance at first glance, but consider it in the context of everything
else Washington is doing. As long as we sit idly by, this cancer will only spread. It will end only
when we as a People show Washington, District of Criminals that Dixie's sons and daughters are not theirs to
tyrannise - that Dixie's free.
'The purpose of government is for those who run it to plunder those who do not. Throughout history,
governments have used violence, intimidation, coercion, and mass murder to enforce this system. But governments' first line
of "defense" is always a blizzard of lies — about its own alleged benevolence, altruism, heroism, and greatness,
along with equally big lies about the "evils" of the civil society, especially the free market.'
'The nation's top military, intelligence and homeland security officials are recommending that President
Obama establish a new White House cyber czar under the National Security Council with broad policy-setting authority....'
Welcome to the Soviet States of America. If you are in search of liberty - there's none of that in modern Amerika.

not freedom.
´In his latest C4L video, Dr. Paul responds to the claim that discussing interrogations makes
Americans less safe, and points out that we are most endangered by our interventionism overseas.´
´A 21-gun salute by rifle and cannon fire Saturday marked a Confederate Memorial Day weekend ceremony
on the Russell Street square in Orangeburg Saturday.... Jim Wyrosdick, commander of the Olin M. Dantzler No. 73 Camp, Sons
of Confederate Veterans, told those gathered the ceremony was being held “to commemorate the sacrifices made by Southern
soldiers in the war for Southern independence from 1861-1865.”´
Our Fallen Heroes who sacrificed
all for our independence from the Feds must never be forgotten.
'Chrysler LLC plans to fire up to 800 of its 3,200 dealers on
Thursday, a lawyer seeking to represent the dealers said on a conference call...Chrysler, which has received $4 billion in
government loans, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on April 30. The company has asked a bankruptcy judge to approve
the sale of all its assets to a new Chrysler controlled by Italy's Fiat Group SpA. With Fiat as a partner, the U.S. government
has said it will provide up to $6 billion more in financing to help Chrysler get through the bankruptcy process..."This
is craziness," he [David Kelleher, Chrysler dealership owner] said. "You're talking about 800 or 1,000 small-business
owners being knocked out of business, I guess to serve the greater good."'
For the feds, the 'greater
good' is stealing our hard-earned money and handing it over to the giant, greedy, broken companies, who have funded
their campaigns and made these thieves rich. The feds are looking out for themselves - not us - by 'returning
the favour.' Isn't it time that we Southrons look out for ourselves - with a government that actually represents us?
'The United States has been elected to a seat on the UN Human
Rights Council for the first time...After the vote, the US Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, told the BBC America was not
blind to the council's flaws. "Obviously there will always be some countries whose respect and record on human rights
is sub-par," she said. "We have not been perfect ourselves but we intend to lead based on the strong principled
vision that the American people have about respecting human rights [and] supporting democracy."...The US was elected
unopposed with 90% of the vote because countries agree in advance which of them will stand for election, the BBC's Laura Trevelyan
reports from New York. It is these uncompetitive elections, say critics, which allow repressive countries to get on the council
and then use it to block scrutiny of their behaviour.'
The so-called United Nations is an abomination, in
which Dixie should have no part. The empire uses the apparatus as a means by which to control other countries,
while at the same time submitting to foreign countries, thereby further trampling upon the sovereignty of our States.
As y'all will kindly note, the feds spew their grandiose rhetoric of 'democracy.' Of course, we're all supposed to be
living in a constitutional republic of republics, but 'never mind' that.
The feds would like to present
themselves as the defenders of human rights, hypocritically criticising China, North Korea, Russia, Cuba, Saudi Arabia,
etc. The governments of these countries are indeed tyrannical, but just how different are they from Washington?
Considering (to name but a few examples) its flagrant violation of our rights as reaffirmed by the Constitution, its support
of the murder of the unborn, its attacks on free speech and property rights, its programme of cultural genocide against Dixie,
imperialism, and theft, is it not fitting that the feds are working right alongside the likes of China, Russia, Cuba, and
Saudi Arabia?
´A suspected U.S. unmanned aircraft strike on a village in Pakistan's tribal region killed nine
people and wounded others Tuesday, Pakistani officials said.´
The Empire marches on... sadly. How many
more people will the Feds murder in our name and with our stolen money?
´Nullification is one the best weapons in our constitutional arsenal to check the power of the
federal government back to its proper levels; although nullification is relatively unknown. Nullification declares a federal
law the state feels is unconstitutional invalid within the state passing the nullification law. It goes beyond the language
of state sovereignty acts and takes action.´
Lockheed Martin and the colossal waste of the Empire
'Gates announced in April that production of the stealth fighter would end at 187, far short of the
243 the Air Force had identified as its requirement, sparking criticism from lawmakers keen to preserve F-22-linked jobs in
40-plus states.... The Air Force estimates that each of the last four F-22 fighter jets to be built by Lockheed will cost
$196.3 million, including $147 million in end-of-production expenses to be rolled into the procurement price, spokeswoman
Lt. Col Karen Platt said, confirming a document obtained by Reuters.'
Half of the planet's military spending...
and it somehow is never enough for the imperialists in DC and the people who pay to put them there.
Feds rebuff Afghan leader's call to halt air strikes
'The United States said on Sunday it would not halt air strikes in Afghanistan as demanded by President Hamid Karzai after civilian deaths, and it denied
using burning phosphorus in the attacks. The U.S.
military acknowledged on Saturday that the air strikes in western Afghanistan last week that struck crowded homes in
two villages in Farah province had killed civilians. Karzai put the death toll at up to 130 people.'
Work
hard because the Feds are going to need a lot of your wealth. Afterall, murdering people on the other side of the planet is
not cheap.
Obama's socialised health plan fuels feverish fight
'The Obama administration and its allies are now scrambling to contain a full-throated ideological debate
that some fear could threaten the most ambitious health-care campaign in 15 years.'
'Former Vice President Dick Cheney said Sunday that intelligence operations under the Bush administration
potentially saved "hundreds of thousands" of lives and suggested that President Obama would "sacrifice"
Americans by dismantling the counter-terrorism tools of his predecessor.'
Cheney has to be one of the most
evil people in the terribly destructive history of the Federal Government. He continues to support torture, wars of aggression,
civil rights violations, and massive government theft to run the Empire. The man has no credibility and apparently no morality
either. Here he is doing what he does best - lying.
'A recent Daily Kos poll of 600 likely Georgia voters shows that 32 percent of Republicans would now
be in favor of Georgia seceding from the United States. These results have been reported by the Atlanta-Journal Constitution,
WSB radio and various political blogs. The Republican Party of Georgia has not commented on the poll and would not do so for
this story.... The Republicans, however, are not alone. Fourteen percent of Independents and 5 percent of Democrats say they’d
cut the cord from the rest of America, too.'
Fantastic! Obviously millions of people are tired of Federal
wars, taxes, inflation, regulation, torture and all the rest of the evil that comes from the Imperial City of DC. The Empire's
days are numbered - thankfully!
'South Carolina is among several Southern states that designate
a state holiday to honor Confederate soldiers, although they do so on different days. Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi observed
Confederate Memorial Day on April 27th. Texas honors Gen. Robert E. Lee's birthday, Jan. 19, as Confederate Heroes Day.'
'Jacob Hornberger, founder and president of the Future of Freedom Foundation, discusses the legal maneuvers that prevented a Supreme Court
ruling on enemy combatants, the difference between regular and extraordinary rendition, how the U.S. asserts the right to
detain anyone in the world indefinitely and how the mission of the CIA is incompatible with a free society.'
Aren't you sick of the imperialism, the theft, the murder, the torture, etc which is the essence of the US Federal
Government?
'Once again, the facts do not support the euphoria. Over
the past few months, the government has literally blasted the economy with trillions of new dollars conjured from the ether.
The fact that this “stimulus” has blown some air back into our deflating consumer-based bubble economy, and given
a boost to an oversold stock market, is hardly evidence that the problems have been solved. It is simply an illusion, and
not a very good one at that. By throwing money at the problem, all the government is creating is inflation.'
´Barack Obama would be well advised to ignore any impulse
to change the world. He should instead go back to the sound advice of his predecessor George Washington and recognize that
involvement in other people's quarrels is a trap that can destroy even the mightiest republic.´
How the US Empire Contributed to the Economic Crisis
´A few — and only a few — prescient commentators
have questioned whether the U.S. can sustain its informal global empire in the wake of the most severe economic crisis since
World War II. And the simultaneous quagmires in Iraq and Afghanistan are leading more and more opinion leaders and taxpayers
to this question. But the U.S. Empire helped cause the meltdown in the first place.´
´How the news coverage of the swine flu isn't so much indicative of any serious crisis, but the mainstream
media's corporate and government, PC sensibilities.´
Ceremony to honour Confederate veterans in Beaufort, SC
´The honor guard of local SCV camp members and re-enactors
from the 11th South Carolina Volunteer Infantry will present the colors at the graves of 117 Confederate Veterans. Author
Neil Baxley, of Beaufort, a re-enacting member of the 11th SC Volunteer Infantry and part of this year's color guard,
will speak. Margaret Ann Gatch will present a commemorative wreath. Refreshments will be served. The service is free and open
to the public. Details: 843-683-6468.´
Civilians caught in the middle of Feds´ occupation
´“Life as 8-year-old Razia knew it ended one March
morning when a shell her father says was fired by Western troops exploded into their house, enveloping her head and neck in
a blazing chemical,” she writes. “Now she spends her days in a U.S. hospital bed at the Bagram airbase, her small
fingernails still covered with flaking red polish but her face an almost unrecognisable mess of burned tissue and half her
scalp a bald scar.”´
How many more little girls will the Feds bomb before they finally withdraw
from that unfortunate land? How many more people will they kill? I guess the profits the military-industrial complex is making
hand-over-fist at our expense is worth all the murder and destruction though, huh? Perhaps someone should try and explain
to the families of those murdered by the Feds why Lockheed Martin´s profits made it all necessary.
´Confederate re-enactors from the Edenton Bell Battery
and the Black Rivers Tigers, the 10th N.C. heavy artillery unit of Comanpay B of the Sons of Confederage Veterans, will be
present to assist with the ceremony. The firing of the cannon by the re-enactors will conclude the dedication service. Contact
Mr. Bradshaw at 564-6670 or Ms. Naylor at 564-2828 for more information.´
Celebration of Confederate monument's first century begins Saturday
´The Confederate Monument — arguably Salisbury's
most iconic symbol — will mark its 100th birthday Sunday. Its owner, the Robert F. Hoke Chapter No. 78 of the United
Daughters of the Confederacy, plans a program at 10 a.m. Saturday to celebrate the occasion. The program, free and open to
the public, will be held at Rowan Public Library's Stanback Auditorium. "Gloria Victis," meaning "Glory
to the Defeated" or "Glory to the Conquered," towers above the Salisbury streetscape.´
Certainly a beautiful monument to our Fallen Heroes. The story here has three pictures of it. Check it out!
´When Texas Governor Rick Perry suggested his state had the right to secede from the union, liberals laughed at
the mere suggestion. But secession not only has deep American roots, but is no "crazier" than socialism.´
Evil Empire kills 147 civilians in Pakistan in a single day
What the Feds do best - kill people and destroy things. Terribly
sad.
´Shouting "Death to America" and "Death
to the Government", thousands of Afghan villagers hurled stones at police yesterday as they vented their fury at American
air strikes that local officials claim killed 147 civilians. The riot started when people from three villages struck by US
bombers in the early hours of Tuesday, brought 15 newly-discovered bodies in a truck to the house of the provincial governor.
As the crowd pressed forward in Farah, police opened fire, wounding four protesters.´
Feds´ terror watchlist has (at least) 35% error rate
´A report from the US Justice Department hasfound the country's 1.1 million-strong watchlist of suspected terrorists
has a 35 percent error rate and no established way to remove or update records.´
These government numbers
should be taken with a grain of salt - their pattern of lying is well-established. However, their own data is cause for great
concern. Certainly, we do not live in anything even approaching a ´free country.´
Villages High School students re-enact battle between Blue and Gray
'History came to life for 100 Villages High School students
as they re-enacted the Civil War. Sound effects of battle filled the air. Smoke billowed from a cannon and muskets. The
cavalry came charging on horses.'
'Founded in 1896, the Relic Room and Military Museum is
the oldest museum in the Columbia area. It focuses on South Carolina’s military history from the Revolutionary War to
the current war on terror.'
Florida Board that challenged Confederate Flag dissolved
'An advisory board that addressed racial issues in Homestead
and Florida City has been dissolved, leading some residents to question whether the move was an attempt to stop their fight
against the Confederate Flag.'
A very biased article that none of our readers will probably enjoy. At
any rate though, it is good news that this 'advisory board' that was attacking our culture is dissolved. Notice how
removing our cultural symbols is somehow transformed into 'addressing racial issues' in the article. It is ridiculous
how biased the media in general is against the South. One thing Southrons in the area can do is refuse to consume this kind
of junk media.
´All the time, women are shocked, shocked! to hear that
I have a gun, and worse, I have several guns. And then, oh no, I actually carry one with me. That’s so odd, they think.
Oh she’s different. Why more than one gun? She must be the aggressive type. After all, the Oprah way is to trust everyone
and insist that all people have good intentions always.´
Our friend, patriot and musician Terry Warren has a new album out and you don´t want to miss this one. I just got my copy today and am enjoying it a lot. This is
some of his best material yet, in my opinion.
´Almost a third of Georgia Republicans appear to be willing
to break ties with their country. A new poll by the
Daily Kos finds 32 percent would favor seceding from the United States. 18 percent of Georgians overall favor separating
from the union.´
Fantastic! The ball is rolling and gaining speed and momentum. As more of our people
begin to consider the feasibility of liberation, these numbers will go way up. Very encouraging news.
One
side note - the article says Georgians are considering separating ´from their country.´ What a joke! The Empire
was forced upon Georgia. You can not realistically call a continent-sized land of hundreds of millions of people
from numerous cultures, speaking different languages and dialects, following different religions, etc. a single ´country´
- especially when it acquired most of its territory by conquest (as is the case of Georgia in the 1860´s). The Feds
are an Empire - and a very hostile, destructive one at that!
This is a new piece from our own UlsterPatriot. He speaks about the recent decision to change the name of school in West Virginia - a very sad thing indeed. Y´all
will certainly enjoy this.
Jesus on Property Rights and Resource Preservation
´In the tenth chapter of the Gospel According to John,
Jesus is trying to make a point, but his listeners are not getting it, so he finally gives them a parable he can be sure they
will understand....´
An interesting piece. Perhaps you have never noticed this passage.
Once upon a time, the Feds actually coined real money. Those
days pretty much ended in 1965 and definitely gone for good by 1968. The old silver dimes, quarters and half-dollars are still widely available though.
One way you can protect yourself is by distancing yourself from worthless Federal fiat currency. Old silver coins are a cheap way to do so.
´The story of the settling of Orangeburg, South Carolina
is a page in the history of that State which has never been fully written. The cause of this omission can scarcely be accounted
for, as ample materials were within the reach of former historians. Certain outlines have been given, but nothing very satisfactory
has been furnished.´
´Drinking sweet tea is one of the oldest and most exceptional
Southern traditions. As Dolly Parton's character in Steel Magnolias puts it, it's the "house wine of the South"—a
clear, orange-to-red tinted tea brewed from six or seven Lipton or Luzianne tea bags, poured hot onto a cup or more of sugar
or a pool of simple syrup, and then diluted into a gallon pitcher in the fridge. It's served over a mound of ice in a
huge glass—so cold that you can watch your napkin drown in a puddle of condensation.´
I´ve
got a powerful thirst now and there is no sweet tea at hand... sadly.
´America was born from an act of secession. When King
George’s rule trampled on the rights of the colonies, we successfully seceded from England. It took a war, but we were
well within our rights. We applauded when former soviet states seceded from the USSR and declared their sovereignty. And hopefully
the United States will eventually secede from the United Nations. We pay most of the bills of the UN, yet do not have the
commensurate votes, so someday we will wake up and realize that membership, for these and other reasons, does not serve our
interests.´
´The shadow of loved ones lost during the Civil War haunted
thousands of households across America. In the Palmetto State alone, nearly 21,000 military men died out of the approximately
63,000 troops mustered into service.´
´After leaving Rutherford County following his enlistment
in the Confederate Army in July of 186l, his journey took him to Camp Trousdale in Sumner County for training and then on
to Bowling Green, Ky. He served in his brother’s company, Co. B., 23rd Tenn. Volunteer Infantry. By February of 1862,
he was back in Murfreesboro briefly, and two months later, April found him at the Battle of Shiloh, where he was wounded.
He was then sent to the hospital at Corinth, Miss., where he remained until his discharge on May 13, 1862, and back to Murfreesboro
again to a Union-occupied homeland. He covered a lot of miles during this 10-month enlistment.´
´Iraq veteran against the war and champion of liberty,
Adam Kokesh, is officially starting his bid for Congress. He is intense, radical, and extremely well-spoken.´
Hard-core stuff. Wonderful except for the repeated reference to the US as our ´nation.´ Of course, our
true nation is our culture and people of the South. Other than that though, excellent material. People are getting more radical.
The evil Empire had better watch out!
´Lincoln put forth various, and often greatly varying,
arguments against secession, but, as Livingston says, relying on their refutation by pro-Unionist philosopher Christopher
Wellman (A Theory of Secession, 2005), “Lincoln’s arguments are preposterous.” He was not relying on reason
and history and philosophical argument, no more than his party did, but on instinct and temperament, with pride and egotism
(”Not on my watch”) mixed in.´
Dixie´s cuisine all the rage in Oakland, California
We are trying to link to more cultural pieces. And one of my favourite
parts of our wonderful culture in Dixie is our cuisine! This piece is about Southern food in that distant and alien land of
California. lol
´Even on a recent Monday evening, Pican was thronged with well-dressed, happy people
out for a cool cocktail and a dash of chef Dean Dupuis' new wave Southern cooking — food that combines Cajun, Creole
and low country cuisine, and skimps on neither quality or calories. Dupuis hails from Atlanta's South City Kitchen, where
his Southern cooking won raves for its contemporary vibe....´
Living historian makes presentation on Confederate uniform and gear
´A living historian and Civil War scholar, Arthur Green
is Commander of 1st Confederate Battalion Tilghman's Brigade, a Civil War reenactment group. Mr. Green gave his presentation,
"What the Boys Wore and Carried," to the Isaac W. K. Handy Chapter 2658 of United Daughters of the Confederacy on
April 25 at the Abraham Staats House in South Bound Brook, NJ.´
The tradition of eating grits (with recipe for cheesy grits and shrimp)
´The low country of South Carolina took the dish a step
further by adding shrimp from their shellfish catches. Shrimp and grits evolved as a mainstay on breakfast tables and, in
1976, was named the State Food of South Carolina.´
´We are here today for one purpose, and one purpose only,
to honor the Southern heroes who lie among us in this hallowed ground. To honor the Southern heroes whose blood was spilled
on the battlefields, from Vicksburg to Gettysburg, and whom never came home or were heard from again. To honor the men who
were paroled, from Appomattox to Elmira, and who came home to a desolate and destroyed nation. Let us not forget the women,
who watched as their homes where burned, and most certainly fought and died to protect their families....´
´War On Economic Freedom´ San Antonio Tea Party 15 April 2009
´Speech at the San Antonio Tea Party April 15, 2009 titled The War on Economic Freedom. The topic covers the Government's
war against free market Capitalism though punitive regulation. The dangers of Corporatism. Exposes the true nature of the
Federal Reserve and lists the devastating damages it has done to our monetary system and the economy over the years. The video
includes pictures from the San Antonio Tea Party crowd estimated to be around 20,000. Included are graphics to aid in the
viewers understanding of one of the most critical issues of our time, our economic freedom.´
Excellent
material. The thieves and murderers in Washington, DC need to be kicked out of our lives!
´A world dominated by small states, with more able to
splinter off at any time, is one much more conducive to peace than a world of large states. Smallness necessitates free trade,
which can only be carried on in stable conditions of peace. States must stay on good terms with their neighbors, because they
need their goods, creating mutual dependency. A large state has no such incentive; it can quite easily turn autarkical, and
concentrate its resources on militarism, espionage and social control. There is a reason, in other words, why Iceland and
Malta are open and peaceful and the U.S. and Russia, historically, have not been.´
This is one of my
favourite arguements in favour of secession. It is very well presented in this article. Check it out!
´An
Auburn City Council member, who removed Confederate flags from a city-owned cemetery, says that he has returned the flags
that he took one week ago. However, is still refusing to apologize and is calling for a protest of the racially charged emblem
at the city's next council meeting. Councilman Arthur L. Dowdell Sr. said yesterday that he returned four flags to the
local leader of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. He also gave the group $20.00 for one of the flags, which he says
was accidently broken when he ripped it out of the ground.´
It is very positive that Councilman Dowdell
gave back the stolen flags and replaced the one he destroyed. He has proven he does in fact have a bit of decency. Sadly,
however, Mr Dowdell appears in great need of a history lesson. Perhaps some local folks there in Auburn can oblige him.
´The news that Chrysler is going to file for a Chapter 11 bankruptcyis a small dose of reality in a cycle of Alice-in-Wonderland reports
that have been filtering from Washington over the "restructuring" of the American automobile industry. Unfortunately,
even a real-live bankruptcy is going to be so politicized that the outcome will be pretty much what the Obama administration
has been demanding all along: a government-union partnership of domestic automobile companies.´
